As a part of our ministry philosophy we want to keep people aware of the opportunities to serve that exists here in Bowling Green and beyond. The work of the church exists in the context of God's kingdom. There are many organizations that are doing work that we believe to be in line with the truth of the gospel, and we want to support those organizations as best we can.
United Way’s Invest In Success
Invest In Success, an early children development program being managed by United Way of Southern KY is seeking church members with an interest in making a huge impact. Reading aloud is the single most important factor in learning to read. Anyone interested and available to offer only 30 minutes-twice per month to spend time reading aloud with a small group of struggling preschool and kindergarten readers, is urged to volunteer. Invest In Success’ goal is to ensure that every child within our community enters school prepared to learn.
